Hospitals

It is normal and happens very often when you go for holidays to need a Doctor. An emergency
health center is situated in Archagellos, the village next to Haraki. You can get there by motorbike
or a car otherwise you'll need to call an ambulance 166 (free phone), There you can find first aid
help and then depending on the importance of your situation Doctors will be decide if you have to
go in the main Hospital Of dodecanese which is situated in Rhodes town. Rhodes hospital has
a very good reputation for it's services and it's staff. Rhodes hospital is the newest in Greece it
opened in march of 2000. It is supposed to be the most beautiful and cleanest hospital in
Europe. We hope that you will not need it, but if you do you must be confident for the good work
that Doctors will do.

Pharmacies

Pharmacies can be found in several places around the island but the closer one is the one in
Malona village which is 5 minutes by car from haraki. Eitherwise you can find more pharmacies
in Archaggelos or lindos.

Banks

It is definent that you will need a bank for exchanging money or withdraw money from your
account. Banks are situated in the village of Archagelos, Lindos, Lardos and in the town of
Rhodes. Banks are opened from 8 o'clock in the morning till 2.30 in the afternoon, Monday to
Friday. You can ex -change money in the travel agencies in Haraki village. But for everything else
you should go in a Bank.

Police(100)

Police departments are situated in the town of Rhodes and in the villages of Archaggelos,
Lindos, Gennadi, Afantou,e.t.c..Department of Archaggelos is responsible for the area of haraki.
So,if there will be anything that you would like to declare such as, robbery or anything else you
should appeal to them. Although you don't have to worry for such troubles, because Rhodes
island is generally a quiet place, and usually no problems persist, specially in the village of
Haraki.

Travel Agencies

There are several travel agencies in the area of haraki represetantives of Olympic ,Direct
Holidays, Kosmar and others.

Shopping

In Haraki you can't do any shoppings there isn't any tourist shops and if there are they overcharge
you so it would be wise for you on your excursion day to Rhodes to buy any souvenirs you want.
Anyway when you get here we will advise you for everything so you don't need to worry. Do not buy
souvenirs or bottles of liquer and other from haraki they are over charged and really low quality.

Restaurants

In haraki there are many restaurants the best by far is of course Argo. Argo has higher prices
than the other restaurants but the service they offer and the cuisine is simply " Excellent".
